We were thrilled to bring Mamahuhu’s signature Chinese-American comfort food to the Peninsula with their newest location in Palo Alto, our fourth build for this growing restaurant group! Working with architects Karissa Kashyap and Parvathy Nair, we transformed a former burger joint into a bright, welcoming space that continues the brand’s playful yet refined aesthetic.
This build included a full gut and rebuild with new MEP systems, a reconfigured kitchen layout with dual hoods and a 7.5-ton rooftop unit, and custom stainless steel fabrication throughout. Inside, guests are greeted by warm terracotta floors, maple butcher block seating, and fresh colorful accents that echo the group’s other locations while bringing a unique charm to the South Bay.
