Cookline is a construction management company specializing in restaurant and hospitality projects throughout the Bay Area. Projects range in size from small remodels to large tenant improvements, located in San Francisco, the East Bay, Marin County and the Peninsula. 

Role

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Job Site Assistant to support our project teams with jobsite cleanup, minor repairs and light maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Keep jobsites clean and organized (sweeping, debris removal, trash hauling)

• Drive company dump truck to haul and dispose of waste (must be comfortable driving in the city)

• Help with basic carpentry and repairs (doors, trim, shelving, painting, etc.)

• Track expenses, time, and receipts for job-related work

• Assist site superintendents and project managers as needed

• Occasionally attend company meetings and communicate jobsite updates

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable insured vehicle (mileage reimbursed)***

• Must be authorized to work in the United States***

• Solid with tools and basic maintenance tasks

• Ability to assess problems and identify solutions quickly

• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken English in order to understand jobsite instructions, safety requirements, and coordinate with project team members

• Strong communication and time management

• Bonus points if you speak Spanish or love great restaurants

***These are minimum requirements for the role. Applicants that do not meet these will not be considered.

Compensation: starting at $20/hour
