ASHA TEA HOUSE
Zen, tranquil and peaceful - those are just some of the words we use to describe Asha Tea House in Oakland. We're very proud of the beautiful outcome because the project was actually very technically challenging! Because of the medical offices above the cafe, we were presented with many issues by the existing HVAC units and low ceilings. But through Young America Creative's creative design solutions and the use of sleek materials such as white tile, oak, polished concrete floors and stainless steel countertop (also check out the beautifully soft curved drywall soffit and column surrounds), we were able to transform an almost-impossibly tight space into an open and inviting tea oasis on busy Grand Avenue.
